Class 06

Built exclusively for the Scottish Region by Andrew Barclay from 1958, the class originally numbered 35 machines. Ten survived to be renumbered under the 1974 TOPS scheme. Final withdrawals took place in October 1980 with 06 008 and 06 005.

Engine: Gardner 8L3 of 204bhp at 1200rpm.
