A side view of these rarely photographed locomotives, shows the unusual look of the leading ex-Class 08's removed cab. One also wonders why, when these were classed as one locomotive, and never uncoupled, the units carried two BR emblems and the Master carried a yellow front end. Tinsley, 15th June 1980.
