20 047 is seen paired with 20 004 at Shirebrook on the 23rd July 1990. 20 004 only lasted a further three months after this photo was taken, whilst 20 047 lives on today as 20 301 Max Joule 1958-1999; this year (2006) the machine celebrates 47 years in active service!
