20 030 & 141 at Toton Depot, 9th June 1979. 20 030 still has the recessed section in its cabside used for the tablet catching aparatus whilst formerly allocated to the Scottish Region, and the larger cabside windows, whilst 20 141 shows evidence of its former number, 8141. Interestingly, 20 141 is pictured here in green livery, and gained (from what is known today) celebrity status as being the last main line loco supporting the old British Rail colours. Unfortunately, the machine was not secured for preservation being withdrawn from Toton in September 1991, and reduced to scrap at MC Metals, Glasgow in August 1993.
