During its time at the RTC, RDB968007 was renumbered yet again, this time to 97201 and received the centres new house colours of rail blue and red upper bodysides. The locomotive was also named 'Experiment' and became quite a celebrity machine in railway circles. 97201 is pictured on a visit to the Midland Railway Centre in August 1991. The locomotive continues to have a charmed life to this day, and now exists as one of the preserved examples. Click here for details.
