25 152 undergoes a heavy overhaul at Derby Locomotive Works 11th June 1981. All of the major components have been removed from the body and bodywork repairs are in evidence. Of note is the replating of the cab front in the areas where the 'overhead live wires' plates were sited. This was due to the ingress of water behind the warning signs.
