Unit 253 026 ends its journey from the West Country and enters Paddington station on the 25th August 1977. Although the power car in view is unidentifiable the cars for this set would have been W43052/53. Today, W43052 runs as part of the East Midlands Trains fleet whilst W43053 continues to work the same route as it did thirty-three years ago, now in the care of First Great Western.
