An unidentified power car from unit 254 002 stands in the yard at Derby Locomotive Works, 20th September 1978. The car was only just over a year old at this time and it is likely to have been on works for minor alterations/modifications. Note the front panel in the raised position and the drawbar attached, ready for movement by a conventional locomotive.
