The 27/2's were synonymous with the Edinburgh - Glasgow push/pull workings during the 1970's and 1980's and several members of the class could always be viewed at Haymarket depot, Edinburgh. Here, 27 211 awaits servicing and a return to its duties in the late 1970's.
