31 408 pictured stabled at Derby with four TPO coaches in tow along with the station pilot Class 08 on a dreary 2nd April 1991. In the background Derby locomotive works is in the final stages of its existence; the staff footbridge pictured has now been replaced by a passenger (customer?) version which connects with a car park on the site of the old rail-crane test area.
