By 1982, the electric train heat sub-class 31/4's consisted of just twenty-four locomotives. Here, one of the examples, 31 413 stands in the line-up at March awaiting its next turn of duties. At this time many of the 31/4's has gained white bodyside stripes, a retro-addition from their brunswick green days.
