Final member of the class, 870 Zulu pictured at Salisbury on the 23rd August 1970. As well as being the last of the class, 870 was unique in that it had its air horns located in a cowling above the cab front windows, clearly seen here. Zulu lasted only a year from this photograph and was finally reduced to scrap at Swindon in May 1972.
