A timeless shot of the former Derby Locomotive Works with 46 033 on the traverser waiting to be moved into the main erecting shop for overhaul. The barrows in the foreground were used to transport the various locomotive components around the works to their respective specialised shops for repair. None of what you see here exists anymore, the site being part of Derbys Pride Park business estate. (Photo, 11th June 1978).
