One of the initial batch of Class 47's, No. 1504 pictured at Goole on the 1st August 1973. The locomotive went on to become 47 405 Northumbria, removed from traffic in March 1986 and finally broken up at Crewe works in December 1988. Note the old steam shed to the right complete with a ventilated wagon.
