47 100 (unofficially named Merlin) pictured at Salisbury paired with NSE liveried Class 50 No. 50 029 Renown on the 29th June 1990. Although unconfirmed, the Class 50 is possibly a failed machine removed from a Waterloo - Exeter/Exeter - Waterloo service.
