Newly outshopped 47 583 County Of Hertfordshire at the Stratford open day on the 11th of July 1981. The locomotive carries an experimental version of the then new 'large logo' rail blue livery with the horizontal bars of the BR emblem carried the full length of the machines bodyside. This very pleasing addition to 'large logo' was never adopted.
