One of the original named Class 47's, Titan. Appearing from the production line as D1665, the locomotive was renumbered 47 080 under TOPS. Modifications over future years saw the machine become 47 612 in 1984, 47 838 in 1989 and finally 47 779 in 1994. Titan is pictured here in its 47 612 guise at Salisbury on the 24th May 1986.
