A nameless (albeit written in chalk) 47 088 Samson rests at the bufferstops at Swansea, 16th August, 1978. Quite a few of these smaller nameplates 'went missing' during this period. It seems the prophecy in the poster, 'Jesus Saves', holds true, as the loco is one of the few surviving examples today, now 47 781 'Isle of Iona'.
