1991, and 50 019 Ramillies is pictured stored at Exeter Riverside, possibly already having been purchased by the Class 50 Association for preservation and before its move to the Spa Valley Railway. The nameplates have been removed revealing its former NSE livery underneath, as have the halogen headlights, possibly removed by Laira depot staff for re-use in a sister machine.
