A familiar sight to many enthusiasts, the long rows of withdrawn Class 52's in the Swindon Works 'graveyard'. The popular following for these locomotives is summed up in the writing on the side of D1028 Western Hussar as it waits, along with D1009 Western Invader, for the inevitable cutters torch. 13th August 1978.
