Although little detailed information is known about this photograph the location is Crewe Basford Hall. Research reveals the date could be 1994, the occasion, the Crewe Railfair event. By this time 82 008 was in the early stages of preservation and owned by Pete Waterman. Today the locomotive remains preserved, this time under the ownership of the The AC Locomotive Group.
