Manchester Piccadilly and 87 020 North Briton heads a WCML service the Class 87's were synonymous for throughout their careers. At the time of writing (August 2009) the locomotive lies stored with many others of the class at the former MOD depot at Long Marston, Warwickshire. (Photo 13th August 1983).
