87 032 Kenilworth at Euston, 9th August 1979. Experience with the fitting of Flexicoil springing between the bogie and bodysides on the Class 86/2's led to the feature 'as standard' on the Class 87's. The design led to far better riding qualities of the locomotives at high speeds.
