Second of the English Electric main-line locomotive pioneers 10001 pictured at Willesden on the 14th May 1966.  The 1948 vintage machine was withdrawn two months previous to this photo, and with its sister machine 10000, probably represents the two most missed examples of preserved British Railway heritage.
