Built by the Southern Railway in 1937 and originally numbered 1, 15201 is seen at Eastleigh on the 9th April 1966, withdrawn some 18 months earlier. The SR built three of these locomotives 1, 2 & 3 (15201-3) which used an English Electric 350bhp engine similar to the numerous Class 08's.  All three of the locomotives had been removed from traffic by the end of 1964.
