Superb study of one of the ten ill-fated Class 23 'Baby Deltics', D5905. The locomotive is pictured at Stratford on the 9th April 1971, two months after withdrawal and prior to scrapping by G. Cohen, Kettering in August 1973. The none standard machine retains its two-tone green livery complete with British Railways roundels.
