Doyen of the Western Region Class 22 machines, D6300 pictured at Truro on the 7th May 1966.  Six pilot scheme locomotives were initially built (D6300-5) leading to an eventual order of  58 locomotives, all were withdrawn from traffic by January 1972.  More on the Class 22's can be found here.
