A dismal 29th March 1969 sees withdrawn Class 15 locomotive N0. D8202 awaiting its fate at Stratford Depot after redundancy in June of the previous year. The locomotive was only the second of its class at this time to be removed from traffic only preceded by D8217 in March 1968. Unusually several of these machines carried their numbers on the bonnet ends.
