Blue liveried SR Class 73 electro-diesel No. E6012 stabled at Woking, 14th May 1966.  Many of the class 73 locomotives remain in service on the national rail system today and those withdrawn are rapidly moving into preservation. E6012 as 73 106 was not so fortunate however and was reduced to scrap by C F Booth, Rotherham in September 2004.
