After spending more time in service in Holland than it ever did in the UK, 27003 (NS1501) is now preserved in its latter day home by the Werkgroep 1501. 27003 (minus its Diana nameplates) is pictured returned to its original black British Railways livery on display at Hengelo on the 2nd October 1999.
