The sorry sight of a once proud Class 45. The very last of the class to be secured for preservation, 45 015 now resides at the Battlefield Line and is in the very early stages of work to return the locomotive to working condition. The above photograph shows the effects of years of deterioration on one of the cabs whilst the locomotive stood withdrawn at Toton depot. 10th July 2004.
