Class 47/ 8 No. 47 839 is listed as being in Riviera livery, but as this photograph shows little difference can be seen from the old BR blue. The locomotive also supports a grey/silver roof, also reminiscent of the old days. Only lacking are the BR double arrow symbols. Pictured at Leeds Midland Road depot, 3rd March 2004.
