On the weekend of October 8th/9th 2011 the NRM - Shildon brought together, for the first time, all seven surviving Deltics to celebrate the class' 50th introduction anniversary. In less than perfect weather, four of the machines, 55 002 The Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, D9009 Alycidon, 55 022 Royal Scots Grey and D9015 Tulyar are pictured in the yard during the Saturday's proceedings.
