Although I've stated in the header for this section that no locomotives run today in rail blue, a few machines have been retro-painted back into rail blue but are hard to track down. This shot was taken purely on an off-chance visit to Duffield near Derby, and shows a 26 year old Romanian built 56 006, still in mainline service at the time, heading north flying the flag for the old livery! 21st June 2003. The locomotive is now officially 'in store' at Barrow Hill Roundhouse.
