From 1959, Associated Electrical Industries featuring one of the Class 28 Co-Bo locomotives at Chinley station in Derbyshire. AEI was formed in 1959 with the merger of British Thomson-Houston and Metropolitan Vickers. AEI later went on to to be acquired by GEC. No physical trace of the AEI company exists today.
