From 1959, Metropolitan-Vickers featuring one (possibly the pioneer D5700) of the Class 28 Co-Bo locomotives. Metro-Vick along with British Thompson-Houston were taken over by AEI in 1959 which later became merged into GEC. No physical trace of the Metropolitan-Vickers company exists today.
