Class 24 No. 24 047 stands at Bangor with the 17.55 Bangor - Crewe parcels, 15th August 1978.

The same location today sees all traces of this outer platform line removed and the area converted to car park use. As with many other stations, the platform in this area has become strewn with weeds and two portakabins reside behind what looks like the original lamp standard. Close inspection of the houses above the police vehicle in this photo sees little change in twenty five years. 15th July 2003.
