At a glance, little seems to have changed today from the top photo, but the remodeling of the station in the 1980's sees that the platform from which the class 86 was departing has been considerably lengthened. The two centre roads are now through lines, and carry the few non-stopping trains through the station along with any freight traffic. 28th October 2003.
