Note, however, the amount of vegetation that has encroached onto the foreground disused platform and the growth of the trees in the background. Platform seats are now located where the original lamp once stood. Note that although taken from a slightly different angle the distant church spire appears above the second carriage in both the 'then' and 'now' photo!
