Class 25 No. 25 307 buffers up to its train before departing with a Crewe bound service, 16th August 1980.

15th July 2003 and the most noticeable change is the removal of the line serving the left hand platform and the railings added to the edge. Of interest is the fact that the same semaphore signal and post still survive spanning the outermost track. As with all stations of today, the platform lighting has been raised.
