Class 33/1 No. 33 108 stabled in the station, 19th July 1980.

The main difference to be seen in this August 2003 photo is the absence of the line the Class 33 once stood on. The GWR buildings still remain, although now painted into what looks like North Eastern blue! Mr. I.K. Brunel must be turning in his grave!! ('Now' photo courtesy Tim Farmer)
