Top photo, Goliath & Hercules again as our photographer turns and takes a second shot of the passing train. Unfortunately in October 2008, the famously photographed bridge was partly covered in scaffolding obscuring parts of the 'now' view. Little change again though, the distant and home signals have long since disappeared, as has the line access gate, and the wall signage has changed. Most noticeable is that the once neatly trimmed embankment has now turned into the usual unkempt overgrowth seen on the rail system today. (Top photo courtesy of David Mant )
