Class 33/1 No. 33110, pauses at Clapham Junction with a capital bound train, 17th August 1978.

A look at the same location today sees little physical change. As it seems, with all stations of today, the platform lights have been raised and the platform itself has at last been cleared of all the weeds! A small township of Portacabins has sprung up on the platform behind, and a EMU appears in the same position in the background, though now of more modern stock. Several signals also now appear to have been added to the lighting gantry spanning the tracks. ('Now' photograph courtesy Tim Farmer).
