The old crane test area of Derby Locomotive Works is now a station car park and a new bridge connects it to the station. The old office block remains, as does the historic roundhouse, and these remaining buildings enjoy listed status. Long gone is the semaphore signal in the right of the top photo, along with the outbuildings of the works.
