Class 47/3, 47 329 propelling a Research Centre train through Derby, 20th September 1981.

The scene today sees the most noticeable difference being the removal of the bridge which once served as a staff entrance to Derby Locomotive Works. Buildings on the left have been demolished and a new one added - now owned by Royal Mail. The signals remain in their original position, only their identifying number boards have changed.
