Ex-works Class 25, 25 146 at the Derby Locomotive Works open day, 5th August, 1978.

At the works open days, the main exhibits were always displayed on the crane test area between the station and the main office buildings. The area now has dramatically changed into an additional station car park. To people familiar to Derby Loco Works, the building to the left is on the 18 shop site, the building behind the car park occupies the space once owned by the generator/bogie shop.
