Reading West comparisons. Top. Class 33, 33 119 with a train of EMU stock, 8th July 1988. Below. Fifteen years later, and the main change is the general revamping of the station to suit the modern times. The fencing has changed and the lamposts seem to have grown somewhat. The left hand platform has gained a yellow warning stripe, and a careful study of the top photograph sees that in the 2003 shot, the overbridge has gained an additional footbridge to its side.
