Withdrawn Class 44, 44 009, 'Snowdon' in the defueling shed before entry into the works for the final time, 7th October 1979. The defueling shed used to be located on the side of 8 shop on the top yard, both of which have now disappeared with the development of site by Bombardier Transportation and the area now serves as the companies car park. In the right foreground of the bottom photograph, the original line can be seen that used to run the entire length of the top yard.
